Dynafit Lecht 2090

Saturday 30th December 2023

The Lecht 2090 course is a great introduction to the Skimo Scotland race series. If you haven't entered a Skimo race before, this is certainly one to look at. This is a short course with minimal ascent and descent (approx 113m) and racers have 90 minutes to complete as many laps as possible in the allocated time. Racers can adopt the fast and furious approach or use the race as nothing more than a social and enjoyable way to burn off the festive excesses. In the event of racers completing the same amount of laps, the racer with the fastest completed lap will be winner.

The Lecht 2090 is very special to us, being the venue for the very first Skimo Scotland race in December 2012 and despite the worst conditions imaginable we successfully managed to race every year until 2017. Under ski conditions and Covid got the better of us and forced a 4 year gap, we successfully managed to return to the Lecht last season in near perfect conditions.
